Written Word Series Vol. 2 -- Hallberg Fine Art Gallery
Written Word is inspired by beloved book quotes. This ongoing set of shows will highlight various artists whose pieces are influenced and inspired by the feeling of the quote. The works are not direct recreations of the book or novel the quote came from, as in many cases, the artist is unaware of the original source. I wanted to let the artists create based on their reaction to the words independent of the book, so each show will have a variety of interpretations.
Vol. 2
Vol. 2 is based on the quote, "Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again," from Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca, stated by character Mrs. de Winter.
